As we toured the lake on one of the dinner cruise boats, Dick Osgood, the chairman of the lake association shared his aggressive vision for this metro jewel of the state of Minnesota.  </p><p>Although the goal of being millfoil-free is quite an aggressive goal, it certainly would not be possible without a vision and someone leading the charge to accomplish it. The association has those components in place.  Because I am passionate about managing our lakeshore resources and also about Lake Minnetonka in general, I am excited to participate in this challenge over the next years to achieve the milfoil-free goal.</p><p>Dick Osgood has written an article about this issue that is worthy of reading whether you are or are not familiar with this great lake.
